SECOND Bike Missing, Monday 6/17

My son Sam’s bike was also missing after school today from the bike rack. Gary Fisher brand blue and silver bike, 24” or 26” wheels (largest youth size). Please let me know if it comes your way. It’s sad to think that we might need to start locking our bikes at the Fall Creek bike rack. Christine 607-339-8295

Bike Missing From School, Monday 6/17

My daughter Flossie’s bike was missing from the bike rack today after school. It’s a blue mountain bike with black wheels and handlebars. It has handle brakes and gears. I think it’s probably about 24”. If someone has it, I can be reached at (508) 944-0144. Thanks, Josephine

PTA Reimbursements: due this week!

Thank you to everyone for a great year, particularly those who have donated so much time and energy to the PTA!

Quick reminder to those of you who have purchased items for PTA programs: please remember to get all your receipts and reimbursement forms in by the end of the week, so that you can be reimbursed. Just download the form here, fill it out, staple your receipts to the form and put it in the PTA mailbox in the school office. Further information can be found here. I will be sure to get out the checks ASAP. It is important to get these requests in now, since I will not be checking the school office over the summer.

Also, please welcome the new Fall Creek PTA treasurer, Joe Schill! He will be taking over once the school year comes to a close.

If you have any questions, you can always feel free to email the PTA treasurer at treasurer@fallcreekpta.org. Mail sent here will always get forwarded to the right person.

Lost and Found videos

You probably haven’t needed a sweatshirt or hat and gloves for weeks now but did they make it home at the end of the season?  If you can’t get in to school to check through the newly organized lost and found you can take this short video tour. There are two one-minute videos… And also a box of 4th/5th grader size sweatpants and snow pants not in the video.

Last week notes

On Monday we will be traveling from school beginning at 9 in the morning, rain or shine, and spending the day at Cass Park. Please remember to bring towels, bathing suits, lunch if you’re packing, sneakers for playground, no money, and please apply sunscreen before school and a labeled bottle if you have authorized sunscreen application on the permission form. I’m looking forward to a great time.

On Wednesday, we will celebrate the final completion of our waterfall with “Rainbows and Sundaes” day. Students will have ice cream (or some alternative) sundaes after lunch time on Wednesday. Each grade level will also be dressing in the colors of the rainbow with Kindergarten wearing red, first grade orange, second yellow, third green, fourth blue, fifth violet.

There will be many other events next week for each class, so please look for communications from your child’s teacher.

Thursday will be our last day of school and we will have our last morning program where we will celebrate summer birthdays. As always, all are invited to join us.

 Some other quick reminders:

  • please make sure to return all library books
  • pick up any medication from the school nurse
  • check the lost & found for anything that you are missing
  • class placements for the next grade level will be mailed out toward the end of August.

Thank you to everyone for such a great and memorable year!
