Bake sale continues tomorrow!

Thanks to all who came out to the dance party today! And huge thanks to all our bakers, volunteers and performers. The Bake Sale will continue tomorrow in the school lobby! Bring your coins and $1 bills and take home some tasty homemade treats.

DANCE PARTY! Fall Fundraiser This Sunday!

Remember to join us on Sunday for the DANCE PARTY! Fall Fundraiser. We’ve had some great rehearsals, and y’all are in for a treat from this band of Fall Creek parents and teachers! The party’s at The Haunt, with shows at 12 PM and 3 PM. (They’ll be about 75 minutes apiece. The Haunt’s bar and kitchen will be open.)

The setlist is made up of songs the kids requested. We’ll be playing tunes by Amy Winehouse, The Beatles, Bruno Mars, Cyndi Lauper, Imagine Dragons, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, OneRepublic, Pharrell Williams, Queen, Rihanna, Sara Bareilles, Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, X Ambassadors, and Weird Al Yankovic.

It’s gonna be pretty cool.

Tickets will be available at the door, or in advance at fallcreekpta.com (which, by the way, is our new PTA website, still in development but ready to launch soon; more on that later). Tickets are $10 each or $35 for a family of four or more. If you can’t make it, but would like to buy tickets for someone else to be able to be attend, just place an order online, then forward your receipt to fallshow@fallcreekpta.org and say “I’d like to donate my tickets so someone else can attend!” (And please don’t hesititate to come if you have difficulty affording tickets — we will have scholarship tickets available at the door!)

FINALLY: We still need some volunteers to sell tickets at the door and staff our bake sale table! It’s super easy, we promise. Please email fallshow@fallcreekpta.org if you can possibly help!

Seeking Bakers!

Attention Bakers — Shoppers — Noshers:

We need tasty treats to sell at the Fall Fundraiser this Sunday. Can you help? You make it, you buy it, we sell it. Here are some general guidelines:

**25-50 pieces is ideal (but we’ll take anything!) 
**Wrap/bag individual portions if possible (1-2 pieces per portion, your call)
**Label nut-free and gluten-free goods. Ingredient lists are appreciated. 
**We have two drop-off stations:

Nora Salvatore 
Drop off anytime. Deadline is 10am this Sunday.

DANCE PARTY! Fall Fundraiser 2017

The Fall Creek PTA 2017 Fall Fundraiser will get families moving with a rockin’ DANCE PARTY at The Haunt on Sunday, November 19! A live band of Fall Creek parents & teachers, many of them veteran members of Ithaca’s music community, will play a lively set of songs requested by the kids (which they’ve been enthusiastically doing on an easel in the school lobby the last couple of weeks!).

Tickets are available NOW!

There will be two shows, 12 PM and 3 PM. Tickets are $10 per person, or $35 for a family of four or more.

We’ll also have a bake sale and silent auction at the show.

This is the PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and helps pay for a lot of our great programs and activities, so please come out to support us if you can!

Here’s how you can get involved, if you’re able to help out:

1. If you’re a musician and would like to sing or play at the shows, we’re glad to have more people involved! Even if you’re just up for a couple of songs and not the whole set, let us know at fallshow@fallcreekpta.org

2. We need a silent auction coordinator. This involves helping find items (or services) that can be auctioned at the shows. The PTA board has a couple of ideas already to help get started!

3. We need a program booklet coordinator to help compile ads for our printed program booklet.

Let us know at fallshow@fallcreekpta.org if you can help with any of the above! Otherwise, put it on your calendar, RSVP to our Facebook event, and come get down with us on the 19th!

FUNdraiser bake sale extended!

Our Fall (Winter) FUNdrasier was a huge success today!  Thank you to all who helped, and all who came out to support ICSD elementary schools.

If you couldn’t make it to the show today, or didn’t get your fill of delicious homemade treats, you are in luck! We have plenty of goodies left over, and they will be available at school tomorrow, for a free-will donation. Bring some to your family or co-workers!

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year!  It is also a great way to make new connections and have a fun time with other fall creek parents.  New families are encouraged to join in!



Tickets Now On Sale for the Winter FUNdraiser!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, children of all ages!

Please join us on Sunday January 22nd at 1:00pm and 3:00pm at the Kulp Auditorium, Ithaca High School, for a Celestial, Glittery, Swanky, Star Spangled, Animal Free Circus Wunderbar! Tickets are $6 in advance and $10 at the door until they are sold out.

Join Hilby, aka the Skinny German Juggle Boy, and friends as they bring you thrills, joy, and laughter, and keep you on the edge of your seat! 

While fundraising was (and continues to be) the motivator for the event, it has become so much more!  It’s about silliness, and fun, and about community.  Families from every corner of Ithaca come together for a great cause – helping to raise money to support special programming and experiences for our kids. And, because we don’t want anyone to miss out on this fabulous experience due to financial hardship, we have made over 400 scholarship tickets available, which may be obtained by request through each of the elementary schools.
