Reminder: Staff Appreciation Lunch tomorrow

Reminder: Tomorrow, June 22nd, is the Staff Appreciation Luncheon. Thanks so much to those willing to bring in a dish. Items that need to be refrigerated are going into the staff room refrigerator on the second floor, non-perishables can be delivered directly to the cafeteria. THANKS!

Want to help show our appreciation for the outstanding staff at Fall Creek? We need donations of food items for this Friday’s Staff Appreciation Lunch. If you can contribute, please contact Todd Ugine (president@fallcreekpta.org, 277-1286), or look for sign-up sheets in the lobby. Also contact Todd if you would like to help out on the day of the luncheon. Thanks!

Teacher Apprectiation: Flower Day Tuesday, May 22

Hello Fall Creek Families,

Just a reminder that this is our week of Teacher Appreciation and tomorrow, Tuesday, May 22 is Bring Your Teacher A Flower Day. Show your appreciation by sending a flower or two in with your child or children to give to their teacher (whether picked from a garden or purchased from a local florist). The PTA will provide vases to all teachers in which to display their accumulated bouquets! Thanks to all for making this a special week for our fantastic teachers.

Teacher Appreciation Donation Reminder

Hello Fall Creek Families!

Just a reminder that we will be collecting donations for Teacher Shopping Day this Friday, May 18, before Friday Morning Program. Teacher Appreciation week is next week, May 21-25, with Teacher Shopping Day scheduled for Thursday, May 24. We need donations of school supplies (pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils, crayons, tape, tissues, tape, staples, composition notebooks, dry erase markers, etc.) in order to make this happen. Let’s all support our teachers and let them know how much they are appreciated by donating what we can to this event.  If you have any questions, please contact Paula Culver at paulaclvr@gmail.com. Teacher Appreciation Week: May 21-25

Greetings Fall Creek Families!

The PTA is organizing Teacher Appreciation Week for the week of May 21-25. This is a great opportunity for our community to let all of our teachers know how much they are valued and appreciated! The following is the schedule of events for the week:
 
Mon. May 21: Bring a Card to Your Teacher Day. Send an eCard or have kids bring in a “real” card letting their teacher(s) know how much they mean to them.
 
Tues. May 22: Bring Your Teacher a Flower Day. Let your imagination run wild! Pick some wildflowers, visit a local florist or your own garden for a special flower for your teacher. The PTA will provide all teachers with a vase in which to display their bounty!
 
Wed. May 23: Celebrate the Specialists Day. An opportunity to celebrate the unsung heroes of our school. The PTA will give out gift baskets to all of our wonderful specialists to let them know that the hard work they do is greatly appreciated.
 
Thurs. May 24: Teacher Shopping Day. Set up in the Art room after school, this will give teachers an opportunity to come in and stock up on some much-needed classroom supplies.
 
Fri. May 25: Bagels, Pastries, Coffee and Tea!  Set up in either the Library or Staff Lounge.
 
We will be collecting donations in the Main Lobby before Friday Morning Program on May 11 and May 18. Donations of school supplies are needed for both the Teacher Shopping Day and for the Specialist Baskets. Coveted items include: Post-Its, tape, tissues, erasers, pencils, staples, pens, wipes, hand sanitizer, dry erase markers, and composition books. Thank you for your help and participation!
