Kids’ Classic “Black Stallion” Showing Sunday

Coming to Cinemapolis his Sunday at 2pm, the story of a young boy and the horse who loves him: “The Black Stallion” (1979) starring Kelly Reno, Mickey Rooney, and Teri Garr. Common Sense Media gives this move 5 stars, and film critic Pauline Kael said it “may be the greatest children’s movie ever made.” Tickets are just $2 for kids, $3 for adults, with a maximum charge of $10 per family. “The Black Stallion” plays Sunday September 16th at 2PM at Cinemapolis, 120 E Green Street in downtown Ithaca, just south of the Commons. Hey Fall Creek Families - 

Only a little more than a month until the first day of school!

If you’d like to get started selecting school supplies - you can find the supply lists here

Hard copies will be mailed out from the school district, along with class assignments in late August. 

Please note there are two lists for Kindergarten. 

 

Thursday Morning Program Lineup

The final Friday Thursday Program of the year will be held tomorrow at 8:05 AM in the school gym. Parents, caregivers, and other members of our community are always invited.

Here is this week’s lineup:

• Birthdays from 6/21 - 8/31.
• 4th and 5th graders who participated in the School of Rock will perform 3 songs.

After that the 5th grade versus staff kickball game will commence!

Student Credit Union - June 13th - final session

The student credit union is open tomorrow morning, in the gym, from 7:40am - 7:55am. 

 

This will be the final credit union of the year.  We will be cleaning house and giving away any remaining color pencils and change pouches. 

 

Also, any student that has made at 25 deposits will get a Purity gift card.  Remember, a deposit can be as little as $0.01. The goal is to keep making deposits and building good saving habits.

Student Credit Union - June 6th - savings challenge

The student credit union is open tomorrow morning, in the gym, from 7:40am - 7:55am.  The final savings challenge continues.  If you make 4 deposits, then you will earn a dollar coin.  Remember, a deposit can be as little as $0.01. The goal is to keep making deposits and building good saving habits.

Dear Fall Creek families,
 
I just wanted to say thank you for all of your book donations. The annual Fall Creek Book Swap would not be possible without your contributions! This year, we were able to collect 1,019 books, making it possible for each child at Fall Creek to take home 5 books!
