Reminder - Bring in Books for the Book Swap!

Please remember to bring in your gently used books this week!

Dear Fall Creek Families,

The 3rd grade Red-tailed Hawk Room will be organizing the Book Swap once again this year! The Book Swap is when families donate children’s books from home that they are done with and don’t want to keep. Our class collects all these books for one week (May 14-18). Then during the week of May 21, each student will be able to choose a certain amount of books to take home and keep. The number of books each child is able to take home depends on how many books we collect.

If you can, please donate your gently used children’s books to our cause. Fall Creek’s kids would love your books that are still in good condition, chapter books and picture books. These books should be suitable for children from Pre-K to 5th grade. Book donations will be accepted next week beginning Monday, May 14 through Friday, May 18. You can either put your donations in the bin in the lobby or have your child bring them to their classroom and they will be collected there. Thank you in advance for your support!

Teacher Appreciation Week is next week! May 7-11

Teacher Appreciation Week is next week! May 7-11. Check your home folders for the flyer.

Room parents for each grade came up with the daily whole school themes (thank you!) and will be helping with a few of them (jars for flowers in each room, jars for Family Reading Partnership donations, boxes for school supplies).

Participation is encouraged but not mandatory. Feel free to do extra or your own thing too. Include all teachers as you are able: aides, “specials” teachers, etc.

Hugs and verbal gratitude welcome!
Let’s show the teachers some love!!!
