The entire school will make sundaes on the playground (weather permitting) or in the foyer (rain plan) after their lunch time. They will eat their sundaes on the playground or in their classrooms, depending on the weather. We will have vegan alternatives.
In previous years, our wonderful fifth graders helped scoop but it’s always helpful to have an adult or two “supervise” the scooping and ensure the forward momentum of the sundae makers…

Book Swap: We Need Gently Used Children's Books This Week!

Dear Fall Creek Families,

The 3rd grade Red-tailed Hawk Room is organizing the Book Swap again this year! The Book Swap is when families donate children’s books from home that they are done with and don’t want to keep. Our class collects all these books for one week. Then during the week of June 12th, each student will be able to choose a certain amount of books to take home and keep. The number of books each child is able to take home depends on how many books we collect.

If you can, please donate your gently used children’s books to our cause this week. Fall Creek’s kids would love your books that are still in good condition, chapter books, picture books, fiction and non-fiction. These books should be suitable for children from Pre-K to 5th grade. Book donations will be accepted beginning Monday, June 5 through Friday, June 9th. You can either put your donations in the bin in the lobby or have your child bring them to their classroom and they will be collected there. Thank you in advance for your support!
