You’re Invited!

Who: Parents and family of Fall Creek students are invited
What: All-School Morning Program
When: Most Fridays from 8:05AM to 8:40AM
Where: The Fall Creek Elementary School Gym
Why: It is a wonderful way to spend time with your child and the school community… and have a lot of fun!

Morning Program line-up

Our last Friday Morning Program of the year is tomorrow at 8:05 in the school gym. (We will have one more Morning Program, next Thursday.) Parents, caregivers, and other members of our community are always invited, and anyone can sign up to present or perform.

For tomorrow:

  • Family Dance promo by the Pre-K King Street Ramblers
  • Redo of “Helter Skelter” by the School of Rock
  • Fifth grader Jasper will play a Led Zeppelin song with his dad and brother
  • Third grader Nomi will play a piece on the piano
  • Second graders Veronica, Nevaeh, Jahlonna, Karamia, and Gabriel will read some poems
  • Recognition of our school crossing guards
  • Darcy Bedore will present on the Reading Week Celebration
  • PBIS

And we’ll sing for everyone with birthdays from June 7 through Wednesday, June 19.

Our second-to-last Friday Morning Program of the year is tomorrow at 8:05 in the school gym. Parents, caregivers, and other members of our community are always invited, and anyone can sign up to present or perform.

For tomorrow:

  • Performance by The String Snappers,(a group of vibrant young fiddlers
  • A video about the amazing emergence of cicadas
  • A quartet from The King Street Ramblers will promote the Family Dance
  • A discussion of the Magic Tile Box viewed a few months ago at Friday Program
  • Darcy Bedore will speak about the Reading Celebration coming next week
  • PBIS

And we’ll sing for everyone with birthdays from June 7 through Thursday, June 13.

For tomorrow:

  • Two promos for the upcoming Family Dance (June 14) - one by pre-K’ers and one by third graders. (postponed to next week)
  • The orchestra will perform a song.
  • Second graders Karamia, Nevaeh, and Jahlonna will read some poetry selections.
  • Fifth grader Geneva will play the guitar and sing.

And we’ll sing for everyone with birthdays from May 31 through Thursday, June 6.

For tomorrow:

  • Dani from Ithaca College will discuss a Math Camp
  • Second graders Julia and Sofia will read a few poems
  • First graders Emilia, Leo, and Sophia will update everyone on the first grade marathon progress
  • Fifth grader Max Stephenson will perform on trumpet
  • The second School of Rock band will perform “Helter Skelter” by some obscure band from Liverpool
  • PBIS

And we’ll sing for everyone with birthdays from May 10 through Thursday, May 17.

For tomorrow:

  • Second graders will present their Peace Posters
  • One of the School of Rock bands will perform “Ring of Fire”
  • A few first graders will update their progress towards the marathon
  • The Pre-K kids will perform a May Pole celebration with Ms. N
  • PBIS

  • Kindegarten student Alex Acosta and his mom Tamara will play a piano duet
  • The pre-k class will present an erupting volcano.
  • 4th grader Hannah Logue will play the piano.
  • Story tellers from Ithaca College will tell one or two stories
  • First graders will give an update on how far they have jogged towards their 26 mile goal.

And we’ll sing for everyone with birthdays from April 19 through Thursday, May 2.

Note that there will be no Morning Program next week, due to state testing.
