Invitation to join the adult jam at Friday Program

Hi,

A new sound system has been installed on the school stage.

To christen its arrival, an open jam of Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode” has been organized for this Friday at Friday Program.

The “house band” will be:
• 3rd grader Alex’s dad, Paul, on drums
• 2nd grader Milo’s dad, Andy, on bass
• Ms. N on keyboard
• Mr. Bell on rhythm guitar
• 2nd grader Ansel’s dad, Nate, on lead guitar
• 2nd grader Katie’s dad, Erik, on vocals

We are looking to be joined on stage by as many people as would like to participate. So, if you play an instrument (from harmonica to tuba, from trombone to violin and all noise makers in-between) or sing and would like to join us, please let me know by Wednesday so that I can plan accordingly.

We won’t get a chance to rehearse this, so the format will be:
“Johnny B. Goode” in A
We’ll do the classic intro guitar lick, then…
Verse, chorus, verse, chorus, then…
solos can be swapped by anybody who is feeling up for it. (Once Wednesday comes, and I know who wants to participate I’ll arrange an order for solos).
Then back to verse chorus, and more solo time if needed.

Email me at:
chrisbell102@gmail.com
if you want to participate.

Thanks,
Chris Bell
